LOL

kinda like my friends 99 Z28...only with 10psi of boost his tend to break loose at about 85 and it's scary...

i know my crossfire ain't nothin special, but even at 14.6, i have little trouble with anything short of a built 5.0L...it seems no one here knows what they're doing except the chevy guys...

Oh I have timeslips in the low 11's. I just wasn't the pilot So I guess what I need to start saying is, "Oh yeah, my car can take yours" instead of, "Oh yeah, I can take ya'".

First off A 5.0 will take 200 shot if you are up on the tune ane and run extremly fat.Second yes the 94 and 95 mustangs have 5.0's but they have hyper pistons. The 86-92 stangs have factory forged pistons and they will definatly take the 200.I have a vette and I have 6 five liter stangs in my shop.I had a 92 gt running high 13's w/just a gear and slicks. The vette's are faster stock/stock,but the mustang does not require a n extreme build to run in the mid to low 12's.

Guys dont get me wrong,I love vette's and that is my favorite machine but dont compare mustangs to camaros that really is an insult. If I cant have a vette,I will drive stangs.

Not trying to hijack your thread Nathan but I thought it was ironic that this BMW guy said the exact same thing to me as that mustang guy said to you. "ALL YOU''RE GONNA SEE IS MY TAILIGHTS". haha!

But the stang and F body cars are in the same "class". So why not compare them? The insult is when the stang or F body guys compare their car to our Vettes.

I have a good friend that drives a 5.slow. He's always giving me crap about how if he had as much money into his car as I have into just buying mine it would be so damn fast. But I just keep telling him, " no matter how fast it is, it's still a Mustang"....

I bet he smoked the clutch!!!! The guy sounds a bottle short of a 6-pak and probably used the original clutch when he replaced the motor. Stock clutch will not hold up to to many launches with slicks.

I have a 5.slow and a 3-fiddy. I don't understand all the trash talking. I think it's all the fools that don't race and have no concept of how slow their car is.

When I go to the track here, its a real friendly environment. Domestics and ricers all holding hands singing christmas carols.

Well, not exactly, but it's easy enough to mill around talking cars, and most are pretty humble. (Although I have a hard time thinking of anything nice to say to a Scion owner, so I usually just keep my mouth shut.)

I'm shooting for (and should easily get) a sub-12.5 : )
Hey Joe,

Send him my way. I am not bragging, just helping out a fellow Vette owner until he can take care of business himself.

I try not to trash talk anybody, whatever they drive. I can respect anything that is fast. It's when people start trashing me who obviously don't have a clue, then they're never gonna hear the end of it when they lose

Default cobra smobra

My nephew has a 04 Cobra. Shifter is awkward and I don't feel the torque like I do in my 92 six speed. I think he was impressed driving my car but failed to mention the difference to me. It may out run me on the top but my 3.54 gear really pulls down low.
