you are not alone. I had the same problem when I bought my '95 awhile back, but I noticed the problem from the pics, and I had the dealer reverse the rear rims before I purchased the car....
I had the same problem when I bought my car. The rear wheels were on backwards. I did not notice them but Discount tire did and correct them and told me about the markings inside.
I had the same problem with my 94 sawblades thanks to NTB. I took my car to Goodyear to get the tires remounted and we did not see any markings on the wheels?
On the inside of the rims for my 93 the rim says right rear or left rear and the same for the front. Fortunately it was in English. and not Japanese because it also said the rims were made in Japan.
When I bought my 94 almost 2 years ago the car dealer had put new tires on the front, after owning it about 4 months I noticed the front wheels were going the wrong way. A trip to my goodyear dealer and a few dollars later now I,m a happy vette owner.
