labor charges
has anyone paid to have a power antenna installed of late. I have a new on I got from a friend but don`t have the time to put it it. Was wondering about what the price range should be to have it installed on a 93 coupe.

It's not that difficult of a job. Take a look at the tech tips(under "Other" at the top of the page).
Typical dealer will charge $75-85/hr, a private shop probably around $50.

This is a job you can do yourself. I have seen a step by step on how to do this. Look under tech tips on the Forum or look at AutoZone site on "how to" section. I did the read last week and it look like no more than an hour job, take your time and have patience.

I had a local audio shop install my head, speakers and amp. I was sick of the loud power antenna on my 84 too, so I asked him about replacing it.
He supplied the new antenna and replaced it for $100.
