Default Do I?

Do I hold any kind of a record? I have a 1996 LT4 coupe with 160K miles on it and still have the stock origanal optispark and clutch? anyone else beating this? just curious. thought it would be fun to see how much life some ppl have gotten out of their stock parts like i have!

I think you just screwed yourself for saying that. The best I have personally seen is 134K on a stock optispark before rotor wore so far that it became a problem.

My car only has 21,000 miles, and I'm installing the second replacement opti this weekend.

Forgett the opti ........ 160 is pretty good for a clutch. I came close in my 91 Maxima at 154K.

Congradulations!!

My clutch went at 20,000 miles. I guess to many runs at the track.

86000 on my 96 LT4 clutch and opti. Still lights 'em up and shifts like gangbusters.

I do belive everything, except the air cleaner oil and tires, are stock for that matter.

On some very rare occasions mine throws a P0300 code. "Multiple cylinder misfire" might be the plugs and wires though as they're stock remember.

great numbers guys! i guess i am probably shooting myself in the foot by jinxing myself like that. anymore? this is striking me as a good testament to GM technology. (which is good since i hear and experience so much garbage it seems)
