Increased Tape Speed — Help??
I recently installed a new Diehard in my '94. First incident, after a couple
of weeks, a tape started to increase in speed. The tape wouldn't eject
(tape around spindle causing the jam up). After forcing the tape out and
breaking the unit & installing a new one, the same thing happened again.
TAPE "RUNAWAY" and the jam up. This "increase in speed didn't happen
until I installed the new battery. WHAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS TO OCCUR?
Both units are the stock GM units — Delco/Bose.
