I have a 1989 Vette, with a newly rebuilt engine. Sinces returning from the shop, I have been gettting codes 13 and 33. What's going on?

Code 13 - O2 Sensor is not going closed loop.Could be the sensor or the ECM. Check to make sure connection on sensor is secure and sensor not damaged.

Code 33 - MAF Sensor Circuit. First thing I would do is check to make sure the MAF, MAF Power Relay and Burn-Off Relay are securely plugged in. If they are, the next cheapest thing I would do here is replace the MAF Power Relay and the MAF Burnoff Relay. They are about $10.00 each, or less and easy to replace. Remove neg bat cable when you do. This will clear ECM code and allow you to see if it resets.

Advise progress.

Just curious. Were you able to solve the problem? If so, what did you have to do?

I pulled the codes, and then disconnected the negative cable. After which, I have not seen any codes.

I checked the connection, which seemed questionable, and repaired that. Now I only get code 13 at around 60-75 MPH. But, now it is a soft code. Next weekend, I will replace the sensor.
