Finally!!! Its ALIVE!
Well, after 3 weeks of nearly non-stop after work wrenching till midnight or later, I FINALLY got the 85 Vette started and running good. 
OMG, now I know why you guys love Vettes so much... I was expecting to like it, but holy crap, I did NOT expect it to pull so hard all the way thru the revs... Now, I just gotta get to work on the interior, then get it painted, and I'll be set!!
For those that havent seen some of my other threads, I got this car in a trade for a race ready motorcycle (1999 R6). It had been sitting under this guys tree in his driveway for 5+ years. He said he started it up once every 6mo or so... I've put alot of blood and sweat to get it where it is, and there's alot to go. But boy, it sure is fun, and after tonight, totally worth it!
I'm just so excited, I've got to share with people that I know will appreciate it!

That is GREAT! It is fun knowing that you have done the work yourself and after all that, you have it running. The L98 is known as a toruqe monster. From idle up to about 4700 she pulls like mad.....but that is it. But compared to other cars, you have 90% of them beat already. If you have the time, patience (which it sounds like you do) and $$'s then mods are next. You can push to RPM's upward and add additional HP and Torque that will kick you back in the seat. For some reason, we are always looking for that additional HP.
