3 years ago for my 1rst vette experience i was dumb enough to buy a black one with the same body kit (without the stupid wing and rear targa hatch)...........luckily, i woke up, pulled my head out of my behind and sold it, pronto. i look in the mirror and still ask myself wtf was i thinking in the first place.
that taught me to "get my mind right" and never ever deal with that goofy, heritage robbing stuff again.
i guess you could say that 1rst vette experience was like shooting a huge blank
damn, that thing is ugly......and then to paint it that color......defies all human intelligence......is there a corvette in all that somewhere?
i would bet that those who are actually attracted to that thing would be a limited audience of jr. high schoolers.

I use to like those front bumpers, but the whole kit is something else. I like how the faded red seat belts clash with the green exterior. I guess if you going to do that much work (destruction) why stop with interior.
js292, after having personal experience with that basic full body kit (i bought the vette back then with that crap already installed), i can say that its THE worst kit you can possibly have on a corvette. the lines are not congruent with the original lines that GM so deftly created.
having the worst at one time -- and actually realizing the abomination -- has made me run 180* permanently. and i'm damn glad for it.....you could say i learned my lesson very well indeed!
and you know the crazy thing about it all is that i received so many compliments on that heap, folks have run into stores announcing who owned that car out there, people at red lights, heads turned regularly, and once even a (very hot i might add) female ran me down and jumped from her car while gushing all over and wanted to buy it on the spot......the attention was unbelievable.......i get much less with my current ALL STOCK vette (except for performance)

Actually, I've seen one just as bad. It was in Bayville, NJ last year, and also advertised in Autotrader. I think he was asking around $9K. It was sort of a puke green with major body mods.
What the hell is that?? That is the ugliest corvette I have ever seen! Let me say that is a chevette and not a corvette! Put that car out on the curb for the trash man to pick up!
Aw come on yall know yall Luv them 16 inch 6 cylinder firebird wheels, ragged out interior, paint chips where the body kit doesnt fit right and rubs when you open the doors, fadey red seat belts, filthy all stock engine under 200 lbs of extra body work, Uncle bens long grain wing, doorsills that look like a 400lb gorrilla has wallered over them 4 times a day for 20 years and Missing gas lid emblem. Thats "personalisations yo"
Oh and get this grammer "ALABAMA RESIDENTS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TAXES AND TITLE" ...classic Hamilton Alabamy.... No suprises here
