I paid $250 a few years ago, to do both windows and the hatch. Since then, they've got TORN up, and I'm going to have to get them REDONE. Hopefully, the guy who did them originally, will give me a good rate at REDOING them, also, I want to go WAAY darker (Originally got 35/20, want to switch to 5% all around!)

There are many different methods for tinting; the cheaper places tear off the tint manually. The better places use steam to remove the old tint. The older C4 owners should make sure they steam remove it because they could rip out the defroster lines if they do not. The next thing is the number of sheets they use on the rear hatch. The more sheets they use the easier it is – but more chance it will bubble or peel. A lot of places normally say 2-4 sheets for the hatch. I found one place that was going to steam remove all my tint and apply new ones and use only 1 sheet on my hatch and they quoted me for near $300 in Southern Cali. The cheaper places ask about $180.
