Default post window wipe install, win. will not go^

Anyone encounter this one following installation of new window wipes? My driver's side window is fine and my passenger side worked fine with the mostly hard and cracked, virtually non-existant wipes. Now that there is a little resistance there it'll only go about a 1/4 of the way up. Any ideas? Thanks

Sorry, I have never done that project so I am unable to help. Just a friendly tip. When you mention a problem with a project be sure to post what year/model you are asking about. Mojo had to straignten me out on this when I was a newbie. You will get more and faster responses if you follow this tip.

Loosen the 2 felt adjuster pads at the top of the door a bit. You should have had them loose to replace the seals so maybe you pushed them in too tight to the glass.
Food for thought

OK Agent86. I'll try that. I actually didn't know you could loosen those pads. I'm not sure I'll have enough room to work in there and loosen them now. It's pretty tight quarters, but I'll try tomorrow. THanks

Had the same problem. Adjusted pads to correct. Your window curves inward. As it rises, if pads are in too far, they will slow down or stop glass. make a couple of small adjustments. If you go too far the other way glass will rattle.

OK Ron. Sorry. I'll try to remember. By the way, my car is an 89 coupe. Thanks
