3rd brake light bulb

My third brake light is out, how do i get to the bulb so i can replace it?

Cruise-In II Veteran

On my '88 targa I:
-open the hatch
-remove the two screws holding the light fixture
-remove the two screws holding the fixture together
-remove the bulb(s)

On my 87 vert which should be the same as yours you remove the gas lid(4 screws),gas cap.Put clean rag in to keep out dirt etc.Remove rubber bezel around nozzle entrance.Reach in and around and you'll find 2 10mm nuts holding fixture to body.Fixture can now be angled out into daylight.Remove back of fixture(2 screws)Replace bulb 891 being careful not to touch bulb with bare hands as oil on skin will shorten life of bulb.
