Headlight Replacement
Thanks in advance.
Mario
2) find the round **** on the headlight motor and turn it until the headlight opens enough to access the screws holding the cover on (the body-colored plastic aerodynamic piece that is 'up' when the headlights are on)
3) remove the cover screws and cover. There are 2 screws on the side of the cover and two on the back (if I remember correctly)
4) remove the four screws holding the chrome piece on the front of the light and the light will come loose
5) carefully unplug the plug from the back of the bulb
6) reverse the process to install.
Don't worry too much about rotating the light to the proper position when you're done because it will automatically reposition itself when you turn the lights on.
Repeat process for the other side
*turn the headlight switch on, then turn it back to the parking lights position when the headlights open half way. they will stay there.
There are 4 screws holding the headlight bezel on - 2 on the side and 2 in front. The 2 side ones are exposed when the lights are half rotated
* take the 4 screws out. I put a towel under the bezel so I wouldn't scratch it.
* there are 4 more screws holding on the headlight retaining ring. remove them.
* the old headlight will be free. Unplug it from the wiring harness.
* reverse this to put the new lights in
* be sure to not mess with horizontal or vertical adjustment screw. The lights should be aimed ok, when you put the new ones in. I just did this, using Silverstars and the aiming was the same as my old headlights.
