Default Replacing Third Brake Light

I have a 94 LT1 and the third brake light has two small cracks in it so I want to replace it. I found a replacement at ZIP for only $29.00 Is this a major job or can anyone do it. Has anyone done this and if so any tips?

I don't know if this can help you but on my '88 it was fairly easy.
Open the hatch and the screws are right there.
This is a picture of mine when I changed my bulbs.

third brake light on a 94 is above the rear plate not the hatch! First remove the license plate..the reach up and in and remove 2 10mm nuts...walla! done deal...I think they are 10 mm.

Thanks, seems simple. Does it have a plug or do I need to splice the wiring?

The light housing, and the light are seperate. If you're just wanting to chage the housing, just take the light out, change the housing, and put the light back in. No muss, no fuss. Wiring won't even be an issue
