Wheel Well Question
I decided to clean the wheel wells that are attached to the clamshell and not wanting to risk getting water everywhere, I took them off. However, I noticed some sort of glue or epoxy or something on the holes where the screws went in. Does anyone 1) know what the stuff is; 2) do I need to replace it and if so; 3) where can I get some more of it?

I used to take mine off once in a while to clean under them. There is a rubber gasket that I replaced with some weatherstripping from the Home Depot. I think the stuff around the screws is nothing. The car looks good is that an 89 ?

I stuff the white teflon tape into the holes
