Default A Question on blocks
Will any 350 block fit in a 91? ex. could you take a 350 block from a camaro and put it in a vette,or does the block have to be specific to corvettes? Thanks

Blocks will interchange. This does not include the newer ls1 stuff though. The parts and pieces that attach to the block are different from model to model and year to year.

So let me push this one more step..a 2 bolt main vs. a 4 bolt. Isn't the c4 a 4 bolt main?

To my knowlege, all c-4's had 2 bolt mains. The exception is some zr1 vetes.

LTX corvettes have 4 bolt main block.

L98 has a 2-bolt in the vette, 4-bolt in the camaro. But either will work for you.

The best option would be 4-bolt splayed.
