Windshield Wipers

I recently replaced the wiper switch because when I turn the wipers on, they won't stop. They just keep stay on. I have to turn the car off in order for the blades to stop. Any ideas?

Have they always been this way or did it recently start?

Two things...and you eliminated one...either the switch or the motor!

Could be the park/ run switch in the wiper motor. It can be replaced, If I remember correctly. It is just behind the plastic wiper motor cover.
