Is this regarding the corner piece that apparently is supposed to bend a little? If so, could I please get a copy of this also? Email is DaveZmyth@aol.com .
Emails sent to those who requested it. And thanks for uploading the instructions to your site, Brian, although I really don't mind sending them out. I was going to do the same but just never got around to it.... :o
I would appreciate a copy of the instructions in pdf. I went to ynk1121's site and printed the inst but it's quite faint.
Additionally, how do you acquire the E-Z Sunvisor Restorer?
Looks like a fantastic idea.
To do Tobijohn's fix you need to find some suitable material. After he sent me the instructions I found that a piece of venetian blind plastic about 1/16" thick x 1 3/4" wide and 11 3/4" long worked perfectly. Go to your local Home Depot or Lowes and go back to where they "custom make" the shades and ask for some pieces of the scraps that they take out and throw away. You can then cut them to size with a utility knife and a straight edge.
It's amazing how this subject comes up on a regular basis.
I had the same problem on the driver side visor. There is no mirror on mine so I thought about slitting open the edge and sliding in a metal ruler. In the end I used three 7 inch pieces of 1/16 inch welding rod, sharpened one end of each and slid these into the middle of the cardboard inside the visor. No need to cut or sew. A thin coat hanger should work the same.
