anyone here do it???
i'm thinking i can just unwind the old one, seeings how it's broken, and rethread the new one right in and screw it in to place??? any tips would be appreciated

You have to feed the new ribbon from the top. THis requires removing those two rivets and replacing them. Other wise, its very simple.
