Actually, you would probably be surprised by how well the car handles. The ride is firm yet smooth. Quiet for a 'Vert. And actually pretty quick for a 4.0litre DOHC V8 with 290hp and 290tq. Oh and it weighs 4300lbs. The looks reminded me of the older XKE's that I loved when I was a kid.

As for the Jag, I love 'em but for different reasons. I think people see these XK-8s not as huge performance cars (though they certainly can be with the R version) but as a fast car that's very classy and refined.

Never been in one really. Just trying to start trouble. I hope Jag's reliability ratings have gone up since being acquired by ford.
