Engine Swap Project Started

Well today I started the project . She's up on jack stands , oil drained , battery disconnected , time to start wrenching . 87 L-98 coming out , ZZ-4 short block with Edelbrock heads , Super Ram and cam , BBk throttle body and more going in ! Let the fun begin !!!

Check "my Corvette Pictures" for the car and the new motor , so far ! Will update at the end of the project , hopefully about 2 weeks from now !

The zz4 with edelbrock heads looks very clean! Are you going to install a SR? What kind of intake base is that?

What a pain some of these brackets are to get off ! Not to mention the exhaust manifold nuts . Can't wait to be done and driving again !

Okay , it's not fun any more ! Now I know why the shop wanted so much to do the swap for me ! WHAT was I thinking ??? I will be able to say I did it myself , with alittle help from my friends ! Almost got the old one out , just hope I can get all that crap back in on the new motor !
