Windshield replacement-is moulding replaceable? extreme cost here!

Had the C4 done this summer and YES the weatherstriping has to be replaced that goes up the A piler and across the top of the car. Best price I could find was 800.00 installed. That is using PPG glass and GM weatherstrip.

The shop that did mine a couple of months ago, replaced everything with GM except the glass. It took four days just to get the car in beacuse the moldings came in bent every time. The shop said they replace all the moldings regardless because of the diffuculty in removing them. Then it took two days to do the job. Got the car back and what a difference it made in looks with all new parts around the glass.
