Default "Big black rectangle looking thing".....

What is the black rectangular device behind the carpet in the rear compartment against the back wall?? It appears to be some kind of antenna. Its in a 94 Coupe, and if you look closely you can JUST see it in this pic.....Thanks in advance

In an 86 it would be the anti-lock brake system. Not sure on an upside down backwards 94 though.

I can't exactly tell in this pic' what you are refering too, but if it has the antenna co ax going to it then it is cm. If memory serves it was relocated from under the pass. dash to there in 92

Its a 94, and its on the back wall off the rear compartment, not the ABS/ASR unit, thats behind the passenger seat. It is very hard to see in the pic there yes. It has no coax cable, just a 2 pin connector. It has fine red colour wire wrapped around it like an AM loop antenna of some kind. I just dont know what its for. What is "cm" that you refer to?

CM, I refered to would be the Radio Reciever Box on mine located under Kick panel (90) when I was in there and considered original Bose replacement Dr. Don told me about relocation like the later model (92-96). If it was that, it should have the antenna coax. going to it as well as other leads. I'm not sure what it is you have, maybe an aftermarket antenna signal booster?

Just saw your revised pic. I think C4 cruiser is right, pretty sure those would be the only 2 options at that point

You have a PKE antenna in the rear hatch area (pictured) and in the drivers door.
