96 LT1 AC problem
Had the normal problem with my AC blowing out the defrost and the floor vents. Had taken it to the dealer and they told me it was the programer. I bought a used one and put it in tonight. Got it in and started the car and it worked perfect. Turned the air on and off a few times and no problem. Put the cover back on the bottom of the dash then started the car again and guess what.........It won't come out the dash anymore. Question is - Is there some sort of procedure that you have to go through when you put a new programmer in ?????

every 96 seems to have this problem, so I opted not to waste my money at a junk yard. but they are $500 from a dealer...
