An Exhausting Question
I'm considering installing muffler eliminators on my '86. However, I live in northern Illinois where cars must pass an emissions test. Does anyone from the area know if exhaust noise (decibel level) is measured as part of the test? Also, if I leave my catalytic on the car but add muffler eliminators, will the car pass emissions testing? My car is in a good state of tune and has never failed the test with stock mufflers. Thanks for your help.
