When I had mine out today and put it on C it was reading -08*.

I don't know how cold that is, but I do know that 0C is 32F. I know it got cold up there this past week. My brother in Denver had everything plugged in!
00 is a diagnostic code - no faults. Sounds like a bad control panel - Hit the Auto button and see what happens. Check grounds - particularly at the driver's side kick panel, though if it were intermittent or bad, you usually get a blank display. Temp readout with outside sensor disconnected should be a -38; grounded 120.

On my 95, 00 is not a fault it is one degree higher than -01 and one degree lower than 01. I was able to verify it this afternoon. I was driving home and noticed that it was registering 32* so I switched to the measuring system for the math challenged and had 00 registering.
I seem to have two digits no matter what the temp IE -08, 10, whatever thanks for all that have responded
Here is a -01 F and a -18 in surrender monkey I don't know how Mojo was able to get a clear shot while driving . The conditions are wierd today. It is well below freezing however, the black top roads in the sun are melting so fast that there is a fog like mist rising from the roads, like NC after a summer thundershower. The problem is the shady areas are sheet ice.
