Third Brake light problems

Well, I will say ....I dissected the problem thoroughly from the light and back......and Mr. 90vettefan, you siad it best.....don't try and rationalize, just change the switch. I did just that today and bingo....IT WORKS!
Wierd I say, I'm not an electrical person, but I will say, SJW probably did explain it correctly, but then again reading his explanation reminded me of my college days (Electricity and Magnetism) passed it, but never understood it.......
