An entire tuned system is a matter of personal taste. The tips made a difference on mine, not only in looks, but sound. They smoothed out the tone. So you should listen to what other guys are running.

If you want a muscle car sound, I would go with a nice set of Flowmasters 50’s or Corsas.

Here is my sound bite with the 40’s. It is at high idle at first, then towards the end with goes to normal idle (it is difficult to hear the blower whine, but the A1000 fuel pump comes through loud and clear). It gets even nastier when in gear:

Can't beat a flowmaster sound for that price. Loud when you are on it or rev it but when you lay off the gas it's just a bit louder then stock. I wouldn't get anything else until i tried this and see if you like it. If it isn't loud enough then you can always go and buy a Borla/corsa system. But i would try this first imo.

Hey Stalker,

Looking at the Flowmaster web site, they've got the straight 40 series and also the 40 series 'delta flow'. Is there a reason you picked the one over the other?

Seems like that 50 series delta has a nice tone also.

Thanks.
