A vise is made to be bolted down. Do it and it will be ready to use for its next use.
I do like the idea of turning the rim to sand it down. Better safe than sorry.

Come on guys. Shame on all of you or doing stupid silly $hit when you were younger... You can't deny it. What is it, now that you are older, you can comment on the young?

1. If I was really doing stupid stuff when I was younger I wouldn't be an older guy today. 2. Now that i am older guy I can do stupid stuff and just blame it on bering old. But pull the nails and bolt the vice, its hard to shift with no fingers.

We could go around and around on this.
