Finally!
I got my Stainless Works headers. No, I'm not complaining that it took so long. I told them to take care of others in the GP first, I could wait. Especially since I already have good long tubes on the car. But it was worth the wait, they are nice. I also got the R/T cats, connector pipes and a way-cool tee shirt! I'm looking forward to getting them on in the next few weeks. I'm also considering reinstalling the LT4 system I have at that time, sans the resonator. I like my PE system but just like to change things around every now and then. We'll see.
Glad that you finally got them after working with Stainless Works to make the deal so great for so many folks
You're a class act.
I assume that you are going to do it yourself, I'd be interested in how many hours it takes for the turn-key operation even if it gets done over a series of sessions including the weldup to the C4 system. They sound nice & deep with the stock LT1 resonator & mufflers particularly between 1800 & 3200 and of course my car's never sounded like this at wot
Tell me what you think of the overall sound effect vs. your car today with the PE system

Thanks for the kind words. I've had headers with a stock system before and it sounded great with the modified engine. I think w/o the resonator it may sound just right. If I like it, I'll just save the PE system for my future LT4. It's really nothing to bolt these things on. Since I've already got headers, all of the adaptations have already been done. As far as the hook-up, I'll drive it to the muffler shop w/ open headers and let them do the welding. I get along good with the cops so if I got pulled over, I'm sure they wouldn't give me a ticket if I told them I was heading to the muffler shop. They're pretty cool around here. Besides, it wouldn't be any louder than the f'n Harleys that are allowed to run around w/o mufflers!
Actually, when I have the engine out soon, I'll hang them on and get some pics before it goes back in too, I promise!
Very Cool !! To be honest it would have been awhile for me to post any pics. If it wasn't for my girlfreind buying me a camera, hi-po parts outweighed the need of a camera.
Chris, What did you end up deciding on for the lower end parts list (c.i. etc.) ?

Loud pipes save lives!! But I'd still wanna keep my hearing while driving around town. I heard of some member who made electric cut outs with the flick of the switch. Who was that???
