Pretty good.. .but I suppose it'll shake the car more when it's not sitting on jackstands on concrete.

This amp will put 284 watts to the sub, damn that's almost more than 3 light bulbs! Feel the powa!

Don't plan on fitting anything much bigger than this amp in there. I even had to use some special rca hookups

I'm gonna go bolt the seat back in and make vrum vrum sounds.

I'm thinking I should mount the video projector in the garage so I can play gran turismo from inside the car, that's about the most action it'll see all month.

Did you think about putting the amp under the pass. seat? Did it take anything away from moving your seat back all the way? I have an amp coming in the mail for my 85, and am looking at my options. Looks good though!

I considered that, this amp is a bit too long and interferes with the manual seat lever up front. It would have involved raising the seat front and back by 3/4" & 1/2". If you get a smaller amp, it'd probably fit fine.

I also considered putting it behind the passenger seat, but there's not as much width there, and it cut off the legroom too much even with me sitting there.

If you're under 5'10" you have about 1-3/4" behind the drivers seat to spare.

I had to mount mine in the center of the rear wall in the cargo area. There was no way my 600 watt amp was going behind or under the seats in teh C4.

You install looks nice and clean though, good job. Now you'll have fun chasing the rattles from the bass, lol.

Which amp did you use? This is a 520 watt, and is bigger than half of the other ones I looked at.

I think MTX has the smallest amps.
