Don't plan on fitting anything much bigger than this amp in there. I even had to use some special rca hookups

Did you think about putting the amp under the pass. seat? Did it take anything away from moving your seat back all the way? I have an amp coming in the mail for my 85, and am looking at my options. Looks good though!

I considered that, this amp is a bit too long and interferes with the manual seat lever up front. It would have involved raising the seat front and back by 3/4" & 1/2". If you get a smaller amp, it'd probably fit fine.
I also considered putting it behind the passenger seat, but there's not as much width there, and it cut off the legroom too much even with me sitting there.
If you're under 5'10" you have about 1-3/4" behind the drivers seat to spare.
