Isn't drag racing a Vette kind of like taking a crocodile to a dog fight?
Not really, you have to remember this is a well rounded car. A daily driver, road racer or drag racer. I put the swaybar back on and teh normal wheels that thing is ready for road racing, leave it as is, and I can drag it. In either config, it's still a daily driverThat's why I have two, easy to change cars than to change stuff on the car.
That's not my car, that belongs to MackeyRed96, just a sinple heads and cam package with LT Headers, SLP Cat Back a 4400 stall converter and 4.10 gears with 325/50R15 tires.
In answer to the original question. No, I've never noticed any significant squat in any of my C4's. The 96's do have a relatively soft FE1 suspension, however. Regardless, even if the shocks are not worn out it is an easy upgrade if you don't like it the way it is.
I thought mine were fine but went to a set of KYB's and it's like driving a C-4 when it was new. $100. is a cheap price to pay for great handling (turning, stopping and launching).
