I picked up my 95 this week. My 91 burnt on the highway about 3 weeks ago. Insurance took good care of me I was able to purchase 95. After 2 days of driving I like the vert much better. Much stiffer car. I like the lt1 better than the old l98. Sure beats driving the wife's caddy.

Congrats on the new ride!

Careful with those comments about the LT1 vs L98. That's enough to get some folks excited around these parts.

Post some pics when you can. If you don't know how send me a pm.

Welcome to the vert club!

I am surprised you find the '95 vert more solid than the '91 coupe. Pleased, but surprised. I have no problems with my '93 vert's body rigidity at all, but always assumed the coupes would be 'tighter'.

I think you're going to like the LT1 more as time goes by. Torque is lots of fun on the street stoplight to stoplight, but the horsepower at RPM equation is enjoyable in its own way as well.

Ain't this a great disease?

I have had both on several occasions, and the coupe is way more rigid than the vert. However, I love the vert a ton more! The 95 probably feels better since it is newer... Anyway, welcome to Vert ownership!
