Carbon Fiber Dash kit
Ok, I know I;m gonne get flamed for this, so bring it on :P:P
Im considering a dash kit to clean up my interior.
(Im not loking for the cheapo Vinyl ones that you squiggey on, Im looking for the real carbon fiber, pre molded ones)
Most of my dash peices have small cracks around the screw holes anyway.
I searched the forum, and there are a lot of opinions of the old wood ones, and its accepted that they all look like s**t after several years in the sun.
All of the wood ones I've seen are old, bowing, lifting and generally ratty. I have been told that newer materials (CFiber) dont do that, and stay nice.
Has anyone had any experiences with the newer stuff?
Anyone have any pictures?

Check with GS057. He has some nice carbon fiber in the interior of his car. I don't know where he got it.

i won't flame you either. its a visual mod that can be reversed without undue trouble and/or cost. it doesn't look childish, infer something that isn't, pose/lie outright or detract from the OE lines. imho i think it looks pretty nice. go for it!

Love it. I went the route and did the bread box eleminate in CF also. Did not do the door pieces. That plus Oklies and new carpet made a world of difference.

This is a great question. I'd love to have actual CF replacement pieces as well. So far all I've found are the adhesive ones and I really wonder how nice/bad they look...

I've had it for about 3 months and I like it. Got the entire kit, included door pieces, front and rear speaker covers, and, replacement breadbox kit and cover for $215.00

Got it on ebay. Company is called Kickindash. They have a website, if you do a search on that name. Give Eric a hollar at
Kickindash2@aol.com. One thing about them is they are slow with their orders, took me 45 days to get it, but the wait was worth it. It is made from real carbon fiber. Install was pretty straight forward, just took my time to make sure it ws aligned right.

I like it...
The corvette emblem on the breadbox delete is a nice touch
The lighter color looks good with the tan interior. Black may have been lost.
I have black interior, and thinking of going with the standard CF (dark grey) to lighten it up a ~smidge~
