There are aftermarket companies that will take your stock sawblades (and a certain amount of cash, or course) in exchange for a chrome set (they will then strip and chrome your old ones and sell to the next guy). I think MidAmerica might even be a source for this. Try doing a google search.
Sorry, but the wheel in your pic is not a factory offering. And just a correction to what FELNGR8 said....'93 through '96 stock sawblade wheels were cnc'd and then cleared, they were not polished. There was no powder coating available on these years for sawblades.
Hey Mojo - Interested in parting with any of those "almost mint" rims from that '93?
Don't forget the "highly polished" blades. Don't remember the forum member that posted pics of his C4 with the brightest polished wheels I've ever seen. They truly looked as good as chrome.
That would be preferable to chrome because of the lower quality, higher price of chrome now . . . but the labor hours and skill required to do them have to be taken into account. I thought at the time that I would like to polish mine one day, if I ever thought I could do it successfully.
Maybe a search on "polishing" would reveal that thread, LindenBob. They truly look as good as chrome.
