Vibrations ??
Hey need help with a vibration that does not feel normal
and have noticed since changin out my exhaust.
vibration occurs between 1800 and 2200 RPM in 1st 2nd third gear.
is this a get in the shop now problem or the norm ?
transmission? or ???

The answer may lie in your question. Just a guess, but if it goes away above a certain rpm, it may be a harmonic vibration caused by something loose in the exhaust system you just installed.... If it was professionally installed, take it back and have them tighten everything up.

Don't know why no responses yet. Yeah, I'd be concerned.
How soon after new exhaust did it occur? Presume you're talking about something like a catback (Corsa, Borla type), right?
Could it be "they", the installers, had to bend something to get the exhaust in? Maybe they wedged using the driveshaft as a fulcrum, or base?
Don't think it'd the trans suddenly acting up. Sounds like something's twisting, rubbing, causing the vibration. Where are you feeling the vibration?
In the shifter, in the steering wheel, seat of pants, cowl shake, etc.?
And you're sure it's not the dreaded resonance or drone at those speeds?
