Default NowI really understand

Finally, after 2 1/2 months owning my first vette I had an afternoon free with perfect weather to just go cruising with the targa off. Picked up a friend , had the sound on with soom easy soft rock. It was near 70 , clear and sunny, what a great day.
I've also loved these cars and now I understand the fixation about them. I guess I'm really hooked now.....

Wait till you do a few mods, and see the outcome in the seat of your pants, then it gets worse.

i agree with it all, but soft rock leaves me flaccid. now, firing up the vette with something more appropriate & fitting like judas priest's "victim of changes", or led zeppelin's "dazed and confused", or ted nugent's "stranglehold" gets your nuts pumping along with the rest of the car

There, there Dan.....

Just go out in the driveway and sit behind the wheel.

Close your eyes and imagine the sounds and sights of the road.

Have the gf make engine noises and squeeling tires.

Then have her hit you over the with a wrench and say;

Get back to work!

Now ( don't be alarmed) your going to notice every so often kids giveing you the thumds up, grown men eye balling the vette when you gass it ( if they eyeball you thats something else( not that theres any thing wrong with that )), triping over your feet looking back when you park, all the exercise you'll get parking away from the inconsiderate A-holes, and a overwhelming amount of *** cars wizzing past you ( ricer-flybys). And a bunch more

I was fortunate this winter, didn't really have to moth ball my car. There were only few days with snow/salt on the ground. I have only had one chance this year to take out the top though, good times.

It won't be much longer till I can leave the top off for days. I can't wait
