really, cops are taught to look for ''heavy'' cars...a stock ,slow moving car likely won't register as a heavy.... but wild paint, spoilers all over, loud pipes, driving aggressively--comes up as ''enemy''

I believe I've seen a cop hit his brakes because my car looks fast, until he saw his radar. Maybe there is a perk to all show and no go, cuz if I was going... ya know
I've had mine for a year and as far as I can tell the cops seem to like the red vette. Yes they notice it but they understand why it seems to be sideways.....cause its fun to drive! No tickets yet with lots of fun time so far. I haven't had the crap beat out of me by a cop in years.
I was going to say that the police leave me alone but I thought my luck would change as soon as I typed it so I won't say that.
I will say that I have had cars that drew much more attention by police but it could have been that every second I spent behind the wheel in my 81 camaro I was a complete idiot. I'm only like that once in a while now.
Probably a bit, but it has more to do with how you're driving than what you're driving.
I'm not gonna sneak up on anybody in my Torch Red, chrome-wheeled, barely-muffled Corvette, but I haven't been stopped yet after nearly two years and 14K miles in this car.
In my 38 years of driving I've only gotten 2 speeding tickets, both in a 1972 Orange Camaro and caught both times by an airplane, and one warning in an 86 Black Jeep Wrangler.
Pretty girl and a plain girl sitting at the bar. Which one is getting your attention?
The plain girls are easier, my 1st choice.
10 Corvettes, from LA, to Portland Oregon, 0 tickets, 0 stops.
Oregon State Police did stop to offer help when the car blew a tire south of Portland.
