Default CD Player Question

95 all stock, put a CD in my player today..it played perfectly..when I wanted to remove it..no deal..no matter what buttons I press it just sounds like it will come out but only pokes out about 1/8 of an inch..then it pulls it back in..turning off the unit produces the same results..dont tell me I have to take this thing apart..but I will if thats the fix, help I don't want to listen to the Beach Boys for the rest of my life.

the head unit is sick... try pulling the fuse and see if that resets the head and kicks out the CD.

My CD player in my 95 has done this for years. The CD doesn't come out quite far enough to get my fingers on it. I usually us another CD and push it back in and then after a few tries it will come out.

Seems I might have fixed it without too much work..I got home early today and decided to play with it..I used a tweezer to pull the stuck CD..then I used a can of compressed air and blew it inside the unit..after that I tried the CD again..now seems to work like a charm..I got off easy if it is a permanent fix..time will tell.

Next time it acts up (and it will) pull it out and ship it to Dr. Don's. He's the Bose repair expert.
