I love cruising on the highway with it. Just put the top down, crank up some music, and just relax. Pop the cruise control on at 65 - 70 mph and driving normally, I was able to get 27mpg on my last run, which was getting gas, and immediately getting on the highway.

Spirited driving like what the W. Michigan crew likes to do, I get 18 - 20mpg on their runs, but I don't like going as fast as they do.

I have a computer total average of 22 MPG. I checked the computers reading with mileage and gallons filled and got the same. I accelerate pretty good most of the time. I like the Smiles per Mile factor!

WHAT
You live in San Diego and only drive it 3 times a month . I think there is a law against cruel and unusual punishment to your Vette for such treatment. Us guys in the north have to put ours away for 6-7 month because of the weather and would kill for sun and 70's all year round !!

I hear you. I am restoring a 96 LT4 and don't care what Corvette magazine says. I'm spending the money to restore it and happy to pay the additional $9,000 to do so. It reminds me of the 75's to 82's vettes. No one wanted one in the 90's, now they are up in value and I am PROUD to own a C-4. Pleae keep your c-4 stock, in 10 years you will regret the mods.

According to the instometer I was getting 100 Miles to the gallon yesterday. Of course I was going down hill with my foot off the gas and a tail wind. Uphill was another story.
