At one time there was a person on here that had torx's bit that you could put in a cordless screwdriver to use on the t-tops. Does anyone know who that person was and how I can reach him. Thanks

uuhm its a targa, also you really shouldn't use a power driver because you could crossthread, they are easier but they lose the feel of a hand tool
The Corvette accessory catalogs have replacement ratchets available. Or go to Sears and get a T-40 bit in 1/4" drive. Just use a 1/4" drive ratchet and a 2" extension.
I searched for a long time to find a torx bit that I could put in my cordless screwdriver and finally stopped a snap-on guy while he was running into a starbucks. He had a T40 socket that had the bit connected to a socket. He removed the bit from the socket by using a punch and hammer to remove a small pin. He sold me the bit for $16 as I recall. A bit steep, but it works great. I can remove the top in about 60 seconds. Ironically, about 6 months later I found one a guy was selling at a fly-by-night road side stand. I got it for $4. Here's a pic of my expensive snap-on version.
