You might check your DOT website, at one time I think PA allowed you to see if a personalized number/letter plate was available. It would simply give you a yes or no answer not say who had it. Good Luck

I have a personalized plate on my baby! The process is go to your local DMV, and the will have a seperate form for requesting custom number plates! the one in oregon is yellow, you fill it out with 3 choices and they will run it and see if they are taken, the custom name will be given on the order of preference u list in the form. be sweet to the dmv person and they will immediately tell you if its taken or not, its just a matter of looking into the computer screen. usually once ordered the plates take about 4-6 weeks for you to receive them. DMV has some crap method of waiting to get enough order to start the plate making system or some crap like that. they make you pay extra for the plates and you can also choose on what different styles of plate backgrounds you want to.
