Default Where can I get an E4 torx socket?

I want to take apert my dead Optispark (just because I'm curious not because I think I can fix it). I understand that an E4 torx socket is required. All of the socket sets I've seen go down to E6. Anyone know who sells E4?

thanks

Yeah if Sears doesn't have it, just stop and get one when you see a tool truck parked at a garage. I'd imagine besides Snap-On that Mac, Matco or Cornwell would have it too.

You guys make it sound so easy to find a snap on truck. I just saw one for the first time yesterday, but didn't feel like following him all over town till he stopped so I could ask for a tool.

This raises another question; besides the Optispark where else on a 93 coupe would I need torx sockets of any size?

To remove the upper windshield brackets on a vert. Probably the same for a coupe.

I went through the same thing a year or two ago. Sears doesn't have it. I had to get mine from an authorized S-K Tools dealer. It had to be special-ordered. It took a few days, and cost about $8 or so.

I got mine at Napa.
It's a "Lisle" part that's on a rack of specials tools my local Napa has.
I think it was around $6.00.

Was at sun & fun Aviation flyin in Lakeland FL in April. Always buy tools and found a female torx set with 6 or so pieces. Then the shop owner showed me a set with 50 pieces male and female small to real big, adaptors and more stuff for $35. So I bought the whole set so that I could get the E5 which seems to work on the opti. Have not found a E4 yet. Best of luck

Although I haven't verified this personally, I've also heard that you can remove one of the screws from the top of your throttle body, invert it over the Opti screws, and use it to twist them outta there.

Be well,

Yes, "E" designates the female socket and "T" the male driver. But from what I've seen the numbers don't match. For example, the screws on the Optispark require an E4 torx socket, but they appear to be the same size as a T10 or T15 driver. Go figure.
