Did the cars get *tighter* over the years to follow?? Sure - glue and other adhesives, along w/ veclro helped with that - although that mostly mitigated the creaks, rather than engineer a proper fix.

You asked about reliability, not features. I own a 94 that has been very reliable, and talking to other owners of 94s I have to say it was a very good build year. You can argue all day about the features of each year, but 94 was a very good year for build quality and reliable cars.

You're right! That was his question. In which case, I gotta say, the '93 waS a daily driver and almost never gave me a problem and the newer one gets very light duty and it's never given me a problem. So, I guess they both qualify as nearly problem free. What a great company that Chevrolet is!!!
