Default 1990 antenna help

My Bose Am-Fm cassette quit. Im trying to install an aftermarket cd player. I've got everything working except the power antenna. Does anyone know which of the original wires in the factory harness control the antenna. The replacement unit has one wire but no matter which wire i try i can not get the antenna to extend. I.m no longer using any of the Bose system if that makes any difference. thanks

Apparently you did not read my first response:

What I did was run a wire over to the control unit under the pass. kick panel. After removing neg. batt. cable, kick panel, fuse box you will see a gray box that has you ant. coax. going to it (you will need to to remove that also and run it to your deck. On the side of that box will be 2 connectors. On one of them will be a pink wire, that will be your power lead to the antenna. Run a wire from your power ant. lead from new deck to that wire and re connect batt. and test. If it does not work you will need to further check out the system (ant. relay in the back, ant. itself etc.)

Sorry i've been away from my computer for a few days. My 90 is not at all like that. The antenna lead comes in from the back and crosses the console and enters the dash on the left side. It plugs into one small box aprox 2" square with one red wire that has been cut off . It stops there as a regular antenna wire . I'm going to plug that into the cd deck and see what happens. If i can't get the power antenna to work i'll replace it with a solid mast to see if the system works. Thanks for the info.

Here's a page from my helms 1990 electrical supplement that may help. Looks like the wire from factory radio to relay is pink.

Before you give up and go solid mast you can always run a switched, fused independent 12v wire of your own to the relay to activate antenna when you want it up at the flip of a switch. I'm pretty sure the your 90 like mine will have a relay located under the back under the shade panel in the rear hatch catch area.
