I bot some of these a month or so ago, and can't say enough about them. Sorry I waited so long. I picked them up at Costco, a pack of 15 for about $12. After using them, I want out and bot another pack, just so I wouldn't run out. They are amazing. First I used them to wipe my car dry - it takes at most two of these little cloths to dry the entire car. Next, I was polishing out my sawblades, prior to getting them powdercoated, and could tell a distinct difference in the final product when I wiped them with the microfibre versus using a soft, fluffy towel. The towel left distint scratches, the microfibre didn't. If you haven't tried them - you should. I am wondering if this will minimize the problem of swirls left from washing and drying my car?!

The Costco microfiber towels are a FANTASTIC deal... So inexpensive, if I drop one, I have no problems with just turning it into a kitchen rag. I definitely recommend these...
We've been using them for about a year now...I will never ever touch another terry cloth towel to any paintjob anymore...they will scratch it just as bad as paper towels. You will find microfibres dont scratch the paint, and are good for interior work as well because they dont leave behind lint.
ive been using microfiber rags for years, if some of you guys remember back far enough they first came out for furniture dusting, i was using them to wax my cars then somebody stole my idea and it evolved in to cars. i could be rich

You told us about these in my buff or paint post. They are great! And they are even cheaper in Dallas at Costco - 20 towels for $9.
I can even wipe my rag top roof and not leave any lint behind.
One piece of advice, Costco doesn't always carry the same items like a regular store, so buy a lifetime supply while they have them (no I don't own stock in the company).
I tryed one the last time for a "wax off" buffer and it was outstanding! All of the wax came off so easy and totally ghost free. I've been using one for some time to wipe down my guitars after I play for a while to get sweat off the finish, neck and strings. They worked so well I thought I'd try it on the car paint. I won't be using anything else in the future. I just wonder how well they will clean up in the washing machine for reuse?
I used these (the Costco microfibers) instead of wash mitts, for drying, buffing, etc., but won't use them on my paint anymore. I think they caused some marring despite being careful and demoting the dirties to tire and rag duty. It's a bit hard to tell because the previous owners had left a lot of swirls for me to deal with, but some blemishes are obviously my own. I'll know for sure after I detail with my buffer sometime in the near future and have a fresh start, but I now use higher qualtiy microfiber towels I got from a forum vendor when I purchased the buffer.
The Costco ones ARE still great for interiors, wheels, windows, and anywhere I don't want to risk getting the expensive ones loaded up with grit.
