Im about to change my oil in the vet still have to run out and buy it im gonan get mobil 1 full syn. just wondering what weight oil i should get 10w30 i would assume but i dont have the owners manuel so id like to know what u guys run. 92 auto 75k miles Thanks
5w30 is the factory recommendation then but 10w30 should be okay in hot weather.
10W 30 is a little bit thicker and will be better for a high milage car, otherwise 5W 30 is good.
Either way its clean oil and better than the dirty oil.
I checked the book and fell into to 10W-30 catagory in Orlando. It cooks in the summer and not usually below 40 in winter, but with car in garage, at least 10* warmer. I might run the 5W-30 if I lived up north as I have. With 100K on the car I'm sticking where I am.
I do the oil every 6K. But I'm thinking of changing the filter at 3K because of the color of the oil. On regular cars I'm a 3K kind of guy. Best of luck. Charge on

Both 5W-30 and 10W-30 will be at the same viscosity when the engine is up to operating temperatures. The 5W, of course, will be slightly thinner at start-up (cold engine), but unless you are parked in sub-zero temps at night, neither you nor the car will notice the difference.
I run 15W-50 in my vehicles without any problems...but it rarely hits freezing where I live.
