I'm so naughty
Out on my bicycle again today (dropped 25# since I have been exercising). I pedal through the local Frod dealer's lot to find a Mustang car show going on. There is some oldfart extreme potbellied dude there with a blue supercharged Roush Stang. He actually has a pair of those chrome "nekked lady" outline stick-ons applied to the rear facia of his Mustang. What a tool!
Nice cars but I just gotta go home and get the Vette and kinda "rev" on them a bit as I cruise their show. While pedaling back home I encounter a 60s GTO vert at a stop light. I tell him about the show and he agrees to cruise through there too and show off some of the General's handiwork.
Now I kinda like sublety rather that out-and-out showing off. So I cruise through the lot with the top down in first gear and rev just a smidgen. The exhaust on this LT4 is stock and only hints at its possibilities with the slightly lumpy idle.
When I pull out I only rev to about 3 grand until smoothly shifting up through the first 3 gears. I think everyone there got the message.
Here's some pics that compare just how nice the low slung C4 body compares to the bulky Mustang.
Here is an underhood pic of a new supercharged Roush coupe that stickers for $49,999. I'd rather have a C6.

Yeah, the C4 roof line is just slightly higher than the truck on the old mustang. I noticed that the other day when one of those roush stangs pulled up next to me and I was looking up at him like he was in a truck.
The Roush boys think they are the top dogs now. The car is nice, I like them and they sound really cool... Nothing special, but cool. I grew up with a 66 mustang so I show respect to the new style. BUT! Any stang after 93' is garbage and I enjoy schooling the High School kids who drive them and think their $80 Flow Master mufflers give them 100+ hp.
