Trans question.
When i back up out of my garage i put the car in drive when i am still rolling back a little. Is this bad for anything like my transmission and how much? it isn't like i floor it in reverse then drop in into drive. just a mile an hour if any.

Reversing the direction of a spinning object over and over may cause premature failure of the interconnects or other components. But that's just a logical opinion.
Is there any reason why you are not able to wait another second for it to stop before changing from reverse to forward?
