Hope I'm not with this one, but I was wondering what kind of interior mods everyone has done. I have an '88 Coupe and since my engine is finally running strong and hard, I need to fix the interior so that it can FINALLY be used to pick up chix (Took a year.. )
I'm wondering about those "Personal Touches". I saw a '90 coupe, which looked like it was leather with white stitchings all over it. I've never seen too many '90 interiors, so I don't know if this is standard. Nonetheless, I like the idea. So I was wondering what everyone has done to make theirs "Their Own".
I'm anxious to start the modifications. I pay for school in 2 weeks and then after that, I replace the seats and carpet and then I can really start!
Thanx in advance and I'm excited to see those interior shots =)
Sure is one clean interior I hope mine comes out that clean soon. I have the bright blue interior, so it's going to be kind of difficult to work with (upkeep and such).

The blue actually grew to my tastes. I now love it. I'm actually thinking about taking my center console pieces and re-painting them black (they're all scuffed and worn out) and then doing the trim of them the bright blue, which can be bought from MidAmerica.

I think it'd be a little different..

Just something from experience.... don't go cheap, if you gonna do something, wait till you can do it right, or you will end up paying twice the cost overall... this from experience
Vinnie, were did you get your breadbox delete piece? Cost? Looks good.
Built myself, made template, covered in leather, added clock, and am in the process of adding 5" video display. If you'd like a copy of the template email me and i'll send to you

Full interior job: loads of pictures of the process and the results in the link below. You probably meant my car when you talked about -90. No, it is not the way they come from factory, all was custom made. Stock interior was plastic and carpet with leather seats. Now leather and Alcantara on most panels, others painted, steering wheel thickened, audio system redone etc.
So much red lol Actually, I was just going to do the outlines of the pieces in blue. Your year has the plastic going all the way down to the floor. My carpeting goes up the side of my center console. So basically, there are two textures on the interior plastics: Smooth and Textured. Smooth is basically the piece itself, which I would keep black. The textured is all out the trim of the pieces, which I would make blue =)
But I do like you interior!

Yes, it was your car I was referring to. I loved the personal touch on it. I want to make my interior feel like my own.
