A C4 caught on fire this morning in the Dell parking lot. :(
I don't have the digital with me or I would post some pics.
May this guys day get a WHOLE lot better!
Dang! PLEASE tell me it's not a yellow 96 LT4.....that would belong to Eric, the guy we partied with just the other night....what a suck way to start back to work! :( :( :( :( :( :(
geez... I bought an extingisher a LONG time ago...
Ain't that the truth !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mounted to the front of the driver's seat. It's halon too! I am a little paranoid about fires anyway. Got two big C02's in the garage along with a 20lb halon, a 5lb Halotron in the kitchen & a 2.5lb halon in the computer room.
Well people, keep an eye on your fuel lines that run from the fuel rail to the first joint under the floor. The rubber sections drys out with age and will fail. When it does, there is 40 psi or more fuel pressure to spray it all over the exhaust, with these types of results. And guess what, GM no longer makes replacements. I have stated this a number of times, this is the biggest problem facing C4 owners, and most are not even aware of the pending problem.
Check those lines, the rubber section is "U" shaped and just in front of the block on the passenger side.
Try dropping your gas tank - you''ll discover severely rusted fuel lines that you didn't even know about. Water must get up into there and not dry out. The lines can even look pretty good under the car. But up in front of the tank, where you can't see from underneath, it's a different story.
Arisa:
Do the Z06 rims stick out @ all, do they rub, did you have to do any mods to make them fit
Nope! They fit better than great! No mods at all, I even used the factory lugs off my car. Please note I used 17x9.5" all around. I am going to 285's later want to be able to rotate the tires. I seem to be wearing the rears out faster than the fronts for some reason. Maybe I should get it looked at ? :D
